The Making of BMW

So many people dream about owning their very own BMW car. For decades this car company has dominated the market with their incredibly designed luxury vehicles. With such amazing cars it hard to imagine a time in which we did not have BMW cars to pine over.

You might not believe it, but the founding fathers of the BMW actually started out building aircraft engines in the 1913s. By 1916, the two founders of BMW united to form a company called Bayersiche Motoren Werke and put their first airplane engine to work in 1917.  However, the Treaty of Versailles was signed in the same year which prevented the company from building more engines, so they turned to working on air brakes for trains.

By 1922, the company was back to building aircraft engines and managed to make 29 records with their state of the art engines. They soon moved on to making motorcycles in 1923. It wasn't until 1928 that BMW became the car company we know today when it came out with its Dixis model which went on to win races in 1930.

Since its first success in 1928 BMW has been continually manufacturing classics that have won the hearts of people for decades. Although during the 1950s the company had slight financial problems they have more than made a boost in their sales since then. BMW has since extended contracting with Rolls Royce, Volkswagen and has even began creating airplane engines again.

If you are looking for an amazing and durable car then you know BMW is for you. These cars are not only durable and fun to drive but they take the luxury car to the next level. With such a long lasting you will find that their struggle to the top has really made them a company worth investing in.
