Bugatti Type 35B

The Bugatti Type 35B was elegant and powerful. It had "success" written, figuratively, all over. The person behind this creation? Ettore Bugatti. Born in Miland, Italy in 1881, Ettore Bugatti made sure his car creations featured not only great engineering but also extraordinary beauty.

Ettore Bugatti was born in a family of artists. Ettore's father, for instance, was a New Art/Modernism jewelry and furniture designer. His younger brother was a well known animal sculptur, and his grandfather was an architect and sculptor. Indeed, the eye for aesthetic creations was deep in his blood.

The Bugatti Type 35B was designed with detail in mind. It featured clean lines, eight-spoke, cast aluminum wheels, and a pointed tail. But the beauty did not stop in the outside. Opening the hood revealed a 2,262cc ohc straight eight-cylinder engine, capable of reaching 123bhp at 5,500rpm and 127miles per hour.

Bugatti's Type 35B creation was a monster at the racing track, winning more than 2,000 races in its 1924-1931 lifespan. Indeed, it was the most successful of the Bugatti racing models and even won the Grand Prix World Championship. Indeed, the Bugatti was designed for running fast and looking amazing while running.
